What should a brewery or distillery website do?
Tell people when you are open, where to buy you, and what is on tap or in stock, before it tells the story. The content studies for Woodford Reserve and Herradura looked at how and why people come to a liquor site, and most of them arrive with a job to do. The story matters, and it lands better after the visitor has what they came for. More in what a brewery or distillery site should do.
Why does a label system matter more than one great label?
Because a craft brand releases dozens of labels, and each one has to look like it came from the same place. A system sets the type, the grid, the color rules, and where the name goes, so the tenth release builds the brand instead of diluting it. It also lets a designer, or you, make the next label in an afternoon. What brewery branding costs covers what goes in it.
Where does AI help a food or beverage brand?
On the paperwork around the product: sell sheets for distributors and retailers, recipe and pairing content, product descriptions, and reading reviews in bulk. Label copy that has to meet regulations stays with a person and your compliance expert. The newer job is getting named when someone asks an assistant what to pair with dinner or where to buy a bottle. More in how a food or beverage brand can use AI.
What did the Phillips UV site win?
A One Show Interactive Merit in 2002, at Olson in Minneapolis, where I was credited as programmer and on music. It was my first web work. The case study shows the site.
What does it cost to start?
A logo tune-up is $1,200 and a one-page site is $1,500. Brand identity starts at $2,500, and naming with a full brand starts at $6,000. An AI search check-up is $150. Anything over $3,000 can be paid by the month, no interest.
